Keeping your child safe
The safety and wellbeing of every young person we work with is our highest priority.
Our Commitment
Builders Club is committed to creating a safe environment for all children and young people. We follow best practices to protect every student in our care.
DBS Checks
All tutors hold an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check completed before their first session. No unsupervised contact is permitted until checks are verified.
Session Recording
All sessions are recorded for safeguarding purposes. Recordings are stored securely, accessed only when a concern is raised, and deleted after 90 days.
Parental Presence
For students under 13, a parent or guardian must be present in the house during all sessions. We encourage parents of all students to remain available.
Communication Boundaries
No 1:1 messaging between tutors and students outside of sessions. All communication goes through parents or via official Builders Club channels.
Data Protection
We are GDPR compliant and collect only minimal data necessary. Student data is never shared with third parties. Parents can request data deletion at any time.
